Before we meet
Prepare for your workshop.
Bring a laptop, charger and reliable internet. These three steps leave more time to explore together. We can help at the beginning of the session.
You’ll need OpenCode Desktop. If you haven’t installed it, follow the OpenCode setup guide, then return here. Already have it? Start below.
Open your workshop’s starter folder
Download the ZIP for your workshop, unzip it and open that folder as your project in OpenCode. Your practice files and results stay on your laptop.
Choose the workshop model
Use the model picker to choose Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor Free. If it is unavailable, ask Ace for help. You do not need to add billing or choose a paid model for this workshop.
Try the first instruction
Start a conversation in the starter folder and send this:
Read brief.md and list the input files. Do not edit anything yet.
Look for a file-read action and a reply listing the files in your folder. No files should have changed. If the agent cannot find
brief.md, check that you opened the unzipped starter folder.
A couple of useful tools
For Research, bring a way to open Excel files. For Websites, use a modern browser. Data Analysis uses a small supplied CSV and local calculation tools. Video Editing uses FFmpeg and ffprobe; install them before the session if you can.
Review each permission request, work in the supplied practice folder and keep passwords and API keys out of prompts.
